Andy Kongsakul, O.D.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Andy Kongsakul was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and his Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City.
Dr. K served as an attending optometrist at the Department of Ophthalmology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He later founded Valley Optometry Eyecare Center in Reseda, and El Portal Optometry, in the NoHo Arts District.
Professional affiliations include American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, San Fernando Valley Optometric Society, Vision Source, and Asian American Optometric Society. He is also fluent in Spanish and Thai.

Dr. Kongsakul is passionate about community service and helped run a volunteer eye clinic at the LACHC which serves the homeless living in skidrow. He is also a Unite for Site volunteer who provided eye care to the under-served living in remote villages of Ghana. During his spare time, Dr. K. enjoys indulging in food of all cultures, attending concerts, traveling, snowboarding, and rooting for the Lakers.

Marshall Field, O.D.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Marshall Field has been practicing family optometry for over 40 years, and takes great pride in providing the finest vision care.. He recieved his Doctor of Optometry from Los Angeles College of Optometry, University of Southern California. Dr. Field specializes in comprehensive examinations of the eyes for both vision and health problems and may correct refractive errors by prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses. Dr. Field is also licensed to treat and manage diseases and infections of the eyes and use therapeutic and pharmalogical agents.
Dr. Field is very active in his community, serving for many years as a California State Advisory Commissioner, a member of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Reseda Chamber of Commerce, Reseda Revitalization Committee and the Community Redevelopment Agency. Dr. Field also serves on Board of Directors for Valley Community Healthcare. In 2015, he was again selected as the “Best Optometrist” in Los Angeles, receiving the Daily News Readers’ Choice Award.

Anne Shin, O.D.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Anne Shin is from the Chicago area. She attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and majored in the field of Biology. Her interest in the health care field led her to pursue a career in Optometry. Dr. Shin earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and after graduating came to California where she began to practice.
Dr. Shin has many years of experience working in a private practice setting. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and practices full scope optometry. Dr. Shin is a licensed therapeutic Optometrist; certified to diagnose, treat and manage diseases and infections of the eyes and use therapeutic and pharmalogical agents.
When Dr. Shin is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also is very fond of cooking all kinds of cuisines and enjoys running, reading, golf and playing/listening to a wide variety of music.

Gina Shao, O.D.
OPTOMETRIST
Needing eyeglasses since childhood has led to Dr. Gina Shao’s interest in providing eyecare for others. After graduating from UCLA with Microbiology and Molecular Genetics major, she pursued and received her Doctorate degree of Optometry at State University of New York State College of New York. During the program, she interned in rotations of pediatrics, vision therapy, and ocular pathology.
Dr Shao has been a member of Asian American Optometric Society. She has assisted in local vision clinics at Special Olympics, MEND, and RAM. She’s also had the opportunity to participate in a few eyecare mission trips to serve the people of Oaxaca, Mexico. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of work, Dr Shao enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, photography, music, reading, knitting, and experimenting with recipes.
